Vacation to Riviera Maya
Just returned from five days in Riviera Maya with some family members — so glad I made the time to go! We stayed at Secrets Capri Riviera Cancun Resort and I loved the Old World Mediterranean style architecture with terracotta roofs, graceful archways, marble floors and walls, and lush landscape gardens with ornate fountains — all extraordinarily beautiful and memorable. This photo of the front of the property was taken early morning on November 5th as we were leaving for the airport for our trip home to St. Louis… we hope to return again someday! Watercolor Painting of Christ, Prince of Peace Church
Just completed on October 21st, this is the finished 10″x 15″ watercolor portrait of Christ, Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Manchester, Missouri. As I normally do, some modifications were made to the photograph worked from to make the most visually pleasing portrait… the concrete parking bumpers were removed, lively reflections were added to the windows to create an open and inviting look, and the flowers in the brick path were depicted in full bloom, which also added beautiful color to the artwork. The statue on the far left side of Blessed Mary was not visible in the photograph, so I made sure to include this very important feature of the church’s landscape. It was an honor to portray this church in a watercolor painting and happy the image will be reproduced for Limited Edition Prints and sold at the next fundraiser, and I hope it will become a treasured keepsake for many parish families.
I would be happy to portray your special property also — call me at 314-892-9221 to discuss your needs and reserve a spot on my schedule for 2017.

Christ, Prince of Peace Catholic Church
Today, October 17th, I am beginning a portrait of a very special house — a house of worship — Christ, Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Manchester, Missouri. I recently visited there on a sunny day and photographed the church and landscape, and this is the selected photo showing the view that will be depicted. The property will be portrayed in a 10″ x 15″ watercolor painting, then the image will be reproduced for Limited Edition Prints and made available for sale to parishioners at their next major fundraiser. It will make a wonderful keepsake, especially for those who celebrated the Sacrament of Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation, Marriage or other special event. I am honored to depict the church and happy to help them reach their fundraising goals — I hope it will be a wonderful success!
**** If you would like your church, school, or other special property portrayed and Limited Edition Prints made available, call me at 314-892-9221 and I will be happy to answer your questions and create a beautiful portrait to suit your needs.
