Hello and thank you for visiting my website — I hope you are enjoying this Christmas holiday season and making great memories with family and friends! I’ve been busy creating watercolor portraits of cherished homes and a family’s long-time commercial property that will be given as Christmas gifts, and I hope the recipients will be surprised and delighted! Watercolor of 150 Year Old Illinois Home
This was such an interesting property to portray! Completed on December 2, this 10″ x 18″ watercolor painting depicts a stone residence located in Waterloo, Illinois built in 1868. The artwork was commissioned to be a gift to the homeowners from their daughters to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the home’s construction and includes their barn and child’s playhouse. The family has lived there for many years and I hope this custom house portrait brings wonderful memories to each of them!

Completed on November 16th, this 8″ x 12″ watercolor house portrait depicts a family’s beautiful and spacious white frame residence in Blue Springs, Missouri. The artwork will be a gift to the parents from their daughter and I hope they will love the portrayal and memories it brings!

The Beautiful Season of Autumn in a Watercolor Painting
This watercolor painting I created a few years ago of a log cabin in Virginia is still one of my favorite depictions of the Autumn season — the dramatic oranges, reds, and golden yellows of the landscape were a joy to portray! The artwork was originally done as a gift from a wife to her husband who loved spending time there, and I hope this custom house portrait gives all who see it the feeling of strolling in the woods and breathing in the fresh, crisp Fall air!
