Completed on April 24, this 11″ x 14″ watercolor painting depicts a family’s beautiful traditional brick home in Brentwood, Missouri. The artwork was commissioned by the wife as a birthday gift to her husband, and shows their landscape with pink azaleas and white crab apple tree in lovely Spring bloom. After taking some time off after the passing of my father, I’m back at my drawing table and excited to begin the next portrait. I’ll be portraying a rustic and charming 18th century stone building at Holly Hedge Estate, located in New Hope, Pennsylvania situated on 20 acres of lovely floral gardens, waterscapes, stone terraces, and a popular venue for weddings.
