Meaningful Watercolor Painting Gift
Completed on August 16th, this portrait of a blue frame residence in Webster Groves, Missouri includes three additions that make the artwork truly special and meaningful — two darling small children and a beloved dog! This 11″ x 14″ watercolor painting was commissioned by a very thoughtful wife as an anniversary gift to her husband and portrays the third home the couple have lived in — it’s the most special because it’s where the lives of their two children began, and continue to bring joy everyday to her and her husband. I hope he and his two little ones smile with delight when they see their custom house portrait, and best wishes to them for many more years at this wonderful home!

Beautiful Frame For Watercolor Painting
Special thanks to Patricia Laury, for sharing the photo of the watercolor house portrait she commissioned and I created last month as an anniversary gift to her husband — it’s always nice to see the artwork after a client has it matted and framed and displayed on their wall! The frame she selected is gorgeous and will go so well with the decor in their home. Congratulations and best wishes to her and her husband Kevin for many more happy years together!

Watercolor Painting of First Home of Young Couple
Just finished on July 29th, this 9″ x 12″ watercolor painting depicts a home in the Franz Park neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. The residence was the first and former home of a young couple who moved one year ago, and the very thoughtful husband commissioned the artwork as a surprise gift for his wife. The window flower boxes, two adirondack chairs on the porch, and planter by the door are charming touches of the home, and I hope the house portrait brings his wife many great memories of the years at this address.

Watercolor of Victorian home
Completed on July 12, this 16″ x 22″ watercolor painting portrays a large, magnificent, Victorian home in Ambler, Pennsylvania. Built in 1900, this 3-story, 18 room, stone residence is rich in architectural beauty… the decorative cornice, stained glass windows, elegant design treatment above the third story windows, and the intricate hand railing on the spacious wrap-around porch were so interesting to portray. The inclusion of the black wrought iron fence was the perfect finishing touch to complete the nostalgic appeal. The owners recently moved after living at this historic house for fifteen years, and the husband commissioned the artwork as a gift for his wife. It will be shipped tomorrow and arrive just in time for her birthday — I hope she will be surprised and delighted with the watercolor portrait and the fond memories it will bring!
