Taking Photos For Your House Portrait
Thinking of ordering a custom house portrait, but don’t have photos of the home? No worries– I can help with that!
~ If the property is located in the St. Louis, Missouri area, I can take the photos for you. And if you order by November 1st, the normal $45 fee will be waived!
~ If you prefer to take the photos yourself, or the home is located outside the St. Louis area, all that is needed is one photo of the whole house with the view you like best. If not sure, take several and I’ll select the one that will make the most pleasing portrait. Be sure to take closeups of any features or details you want me to see. You can send them by email, snail mail, or text photo message — whichever is convenient for you. Once I receive them, we will speak by phone to discuss the portrayal of your home so your original watercolor painting or pen and ink portrait will be perfect! ORDERING IS EASY!
1.) Call me to discuss your needs, 314-892-9221. I offer several size options for watercolor paintings and pen and ink home portraits, and all that is needed to reserve a spot on my schedule is a deposit of 50% of the portrait price. 3.) When your portrait is complete, the image will be sent for your approval and then your remaining balance will be due. Local St. Louis, Missouri clients may pick up their custom house portrait and out-of-town orders will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail at no additional cost!

One Of My Favorite House Portraits
This watercolor house portrait from exactly four years ago is one of my very favorites!
It was commissioned to be a gift to the homeowners from a dear friend of theirs who knew they would enjoy having an original portrait of their residence. This home was so interesting to portray — the large brick home itself was beautiful, as was the lovely landscape with the sweeping steps from the circular driveway, and the sunlight and shadows made the property come alive!
