Framed House Portrait for a Husband’s Birthday Gift
My client Natalie had the house portrait I recently created matted and framed for her husband Scott’s birthday gift and he was so surprised and pleased! Natalie knew he would love having their current home portrayed in a pen and ink illustration and his happy smile proves she was right! This was the second house portrait I provided for this couple and the framing for this one was again expertly done by Deborah Weltman of Terra Art and Frame in St. Louis, Missouri to match the first one. Best wishes to them and their family for many more years of great memories in this beautiful brick and stone home!
Limited Edition Reproduction Print of The Magic House
Special thanks to Jim Robbins of Velham Printing for reproducing my original artwork of the Magic House so beautifully! My client Beth Fitzgerald, president of the Magic House, asked me to add a handwritten script at the bottom, and a total of 27 limited edition 8.5″ x 11″ prints were made — 25 for her to give as gifts, one for my records, and one for my four year old grandson who loves visiting there frequently! Each print was individually signed, numbered, and packaged in a clear plastic envelope for safe keeping until it can be framed by the recipient. I hope the print brings many wonderful and special memories to all who receive it!
Pen and Ink House Portrait for Birthday Gift
This newly completed 8.5″x 12″ pen and ink house portrait depicts a brick and stone ranch home in St. Louis, Missouri and I thoroughly enjoyed portraying it! The artwork will be a gift from a thoughtful wife to her husband for his upcoming birthday and I hope he will be surprised and pleased with the distinctive representation of their home. This is the second pen and ink house portrait I’ve created for them and I know this one will make a nice complement on their wall along with the first!
Watercolor House Portrait for Gift to a Wife
This handsome brick and stone residence in Clayton, Missouri was so interesting to depict! The husband ordered this 14″ x 21″ watercolor painting as a gift to his wife in celebration of their recent purchase of this home and I hope they will be proud to display it inside! The artwork portrays the plants, flowers and trees in the landscape as they anticipate they will bloom next spring — so beautiful! I hope they enjoy living in this property for many years to come! If you have a special home and would like it portrayed for yourself or a loved one, contact me to reserve a spot on my 2022 schedule.

Pen and Ink Illustration for The Magic House Note Cards
The black and white, pen and ink illustration of The Magic House St. Louis Children’s Museum made a charming image for the cover of white note cards! The 10″ x 18″ original artwork created using the tiniest Micron pens, reduced down nicely to fit on the 4″ x 5″ front cover — even the smallest details can be seen! I know Beth Fitzgerald, the president of this organization, will put the note cards to good use with her correspondence to the St. Louis community and beyond. The Magic House is a sprawling 55,000 square foot beloved building filled with creative, fun-filled experiences for children of all ages and I highly recommend bringing your little ones for a visit in the future! https://www.magichouse.org/
