Watercolor Portrait of Home in Flers, France
Completed on April 25, this 9″ x 13″ watercolor portrait of a home in Flers, France was a joy to paint! This portrait depicts the house in a small town in Normandy as it looked nearly 50 years ago when it was the childhood home of my client’s father from 1955 to 1973 and includes their yard filled with red roses along with their two cats. I hope he will be touched by her thoughtful and meaningful gift and the memories it will bring! This 9″ x 15″ watercolor portrait of a Tinley Park, Illinois home and garden was a joy to paint! The homeowners have lived in this residence for over 31 years and will be moving soon and wished to have the artwork as a meaningful keepsake. I hope the portrait brings many fond memories – especially of their beautiful and lush garden! Portrait of a Family’s Former Home
Completed on March 21st, this 9″ x 12″ portrait of a family’s former home will be a meaningful keepsake of the many years they lived there. Rendered in pen and ink with watercolor, the artwork when framed will make a lovely addition to their new home. This is the third custom house portrait I’ve provided for this client and this residence too was a joy to depict and I hope the artwork brings her, her husband, and children many happy memories!
Watercolor Portrait of Arkansas Residence for Gift
This newly finished 10″x 16″ watercolor of a residence in Little Rock, Arkansas is a gift from a mother to her son and his family. The artwork includes their lovely drift roses and white crepe myrtles in full bloom and I hope the recipients will be pleased with the portrayal! Watercolor Portrait of Lakehouse Cottage in Canada
This newly completed 10″ x 15″ watercolor portrait of a lakehouse cottage in Canada will be such a special gift from my client to her father, who owns this much-loved property. This is the location so many of their family gatherings have taken place, and great memories were made over the years. At my client’s request, several figures were added to represent friends and family enjoying each others company at the cottage — including her father and his wife — making this unique artwork even more special! The artwork also includes the large garden with beautiful hydrangea and daylily plants in full bloom, and their Canadian flag on the porch unfurled. The lake can also be seen in the reflections in the downstairs glass patio doors — a lovely touch!
