This 8″ x 12″ watercolor portrait depicts an historic estate in Villa Ridge, Missouri and was a joy to capture! Situated on 14 acres, the original farmhouse was built in 1840, with a large addition completed in 1930 that doubled the size of the home and it’s so impressive! The flagstone steps lead up to an inviting spacious front porch and balcony that harkens back to a bygone era and a perfect place to relax! The patriotic bunting gracing the balcony and flagpole with American flag are a meaningful touch. The artwork was commissioned by realtor Karol Plawsky of Red Key Realty Leaders for a closing gift to her sellers and I hope this custom house portrait brings many sweet memories of this special property!
