Watercolor of barn inspired house in Saint Louis, Missouri

Just completed on February 11… an 11″ x 14″ watercolor of a unique and picturesque property in a suburb of Saint Louis, Missouri with classic rural American style! Located on three acres, this residence was originally an old barn, and the newlywed couple that purchased the property in 1983 completely renovated it over a four year period to make it their home. As the family grew, so did the house, and an addition was put on the rear along with a patio and gazebo. The wife credits her husband’s vision, design sense, and amazing mechanical abilities in making the transformation a reality and is rightfully proud of all the work that’s been done, not only to the home itself, but the surrounding landscape filled with flowers and plants, which she helped create. The homeowners wished to have their large circular garden area and plaque with their family name as the focal point of the portrait and it makes their custom house portrait even more special!
