Watercolor home portrait to be used in TV spot for Century Link

I have some very exciting news to share! On February 5th, I was contacted by Lisa Mercier from Arnold Worldwide, an advertising agency in Boston, regarding their interest in using the image of one of my house portraits in a TV commercial for their client, Century Link, a telecommunications company! The image is from an 11″x14″ watercolor of a Tudor-style home located in St. Louis Hills that I created in 1999 for Joe and Beth Neill, the winners of a house portrait gift certificate I donated to a fundraiser for St. Gabriel’s Church in St. Louis, Missouri. Rich in architectural character and charm, it was a joy to portray back then, and it remains one of my favorites still today! It caught the eye of a designer at the ad agency, and Lisa contacted me on February 5th, and by February 12th all the paperwork was finalized for a two-year licensing agreement for the image to be used in commercials promoting the “Prism” package offered by Century Link. I enjoyed seeing the storyboard for how the image will be used — very creative and well done, and I’m looking forward to seeing the finished production soon! Congratulations to the Neill family — they are also excited and definitely have bragging rights! Best wishes to the designers and production team as they create the finished piece and I hope their client will be very pleased with the end result and the new customers it will attract and bring!
