Doing what I do, I am fortunate to meet and work with some of the truly nicest people! One such client, Vicki Collar, made me smile yesterday when she sent me a photo of the handsomely framed artwork of the Hinkle Fieldhouse arena along with a heartfelt testimonial of her experience working with me. Vicki and her husband George commissioned me last April to create the 14″ x 22″ portrait as a gift for their son Jonathan, who was about to graduate the pharmacy school from Butler University in Indiana, and I was honored they selected me to portray this magnificent campus building which holds so much meaning for him. Jonathan has since moved to Nashville to complete his residency, and this past weekend, his parents visited him and saw the framed portrait displayed on his wall, and were so thoughtful to share it with me. ( See, I really DO work with the nicest people! ) Best wishes for Jonathan’s success in the medical field, and special thanks to Vicki for giving me permission to share her photo and testimony of her pleasant experience working with me!
” We commissioned Richelle to do a Pen and Ink with Watercolor portrait of Butler University’s Hinkle Fieldhouse as a gift for our son’s graduation from pharmacy school. It will be a lasting memory of his love for the Butler Bulldogs and of his graduation ceremony which took place in the Fieldhouse. Richelle was an absolute delight to work with. Not only is she an extremely talented artist, she is a wonderful person. From the first contact to discuss the details of the project to the beautifully packaged delivery of the finished portrait… professional all the way. She kept us updated on the portrait’s progress by emailing us photos. Her goal is customer satisfaction. We traveled from Michigan to St. Louis ( in a bad snow storm) to view her work in person since this was such an important project for us. As for the quality of her artwork… the website speaks for itself… BEAUTIFUL!!! Thank you Richelle for this special gift for our son.”
Thank you again Vicki and George — it was an honor and pleasure to work with you also!
