Here’s the newest, just completed on January 27th …. a 10″ x 15″ watercolor of a spacious rural home in Troy, Missouri overlooking a lake. The artwork depicts the rear of the home and it’s large deck, including outdoor furniture, decorative signage and even a dartboard! There is also a scarecrow by the campfire area — a special request and a nice personal touch!

Watercolor house portrait of California ranch
Just completed on January 16th… a custom-sized 9″ x 14″ watercolor portrait of a sprawling, attractive ranch in Walnut Creek, California. This portrait was commissioned by a returning client whose family had recently moved to Pennsylvania due to a wonderful new job offer there for him. He wanted his wife and young family to have a nice keepsake of their former home, and I hope this custom house portrait will be a great reminder of the many happy times they shared at this residence. Best Wishes to them in their new house and neighborhood, and congratulations to Phil, the father, on his awesome new position!

Watercolor portrait of Illinois home
Here’s the very first house portrait of 2015, just completed on January 2nd…. an 8″ x 10″ watercolor of a darling white frame home in Illinois! Though the photo I worked from was taken in the winter, I portrayed the homeowner’s landscape in full bloom — all her favorite flowers and trees are depicted! The artwork also includes the owner’s beloved orange cat — a sweet personal touch! This portrait was commissioned by a very thoughtful daughter and son for a gift to their mother, and I hope the recipent will be delighted with her custom house portrait — I enjoyed portraying her home for her!

Watercolor portrait of white frame home in North Carolina
Just completed on December 19th — the last portrait due for Christmas 2014 — an 11″ x 14″ watercolor of a charming white frame home in Winston Salem, North Carolina. The artwork depicts the landscape in the Spring season with all trees and flowers in beautiful bloom, and also includes the family’s grey cat and decorative mini flag with the initial of their last name — both nice personal touches! The artwork was commissioned to be a gift from a wife to her husband, and it is being shipped so it will arrive before Christmas Eve — I hope the wife and husband will be thrilled with their custom home portrait!
