Watercolor portrait of Wisconsin vacation home
Just completed on November 29th… a 12″ x 16″ watercolor portrait of a spacious vacation home in Wisconsin. This property features a large multi depth deck that is perfect for entertaining guests and enjoying the view of the lake. A request was made to show two white adirondack chairs on the front lawn, and they are a nice personal touch. This custom house portrait will be a gift to the owners, and I hope they will be pleased!

Donations to three fundraising events
What an eventful weekend it was! There were fundraisers to benefit three organizations I care about… on November 20th was “Jan’s Party” to benefit RIDE ON ST. LOUIS, and on November 21st was the “I’ll Be Home For Christmas Gala” to benefit BISHOP DUBOURG HIGH SCHOOL , and also the “Speakeasy Soiree” sponsored by the Northwest Chamber of Commerce to benefit GREATER ST. LOUIS HONOR FLIGHT. All three events had Silent Auctions, and for each I donated a Gift Certificate for a 9″ x 12″ Watercolor House Portrait valued at $400, and I was happy to have the opportunity to help them reach their fundraising goals for the evening! Congratulations to all three winners of the Gift Certificates, and to all those who will benefit from the funds raised! Many disabled children and adults, high school students, and U.S. WWII Veterans will be helped by the generosity and dedication of so many people!

Watercolor portrait of lovely Alabama home — again!
Just finished on November 17th … another 9″ x 12″ watercolor portrait of a property I had already portrayed last July — an older home in Hartford, Alabama with lovely Southern charm that had been in the family for many years and recently sold. The sister of a past customer saw the watercolor home portrait I had done , and wished to have original artwork also for herself and her family as a keepsake of the childhood home, and I was honored to provide it for her. It makes me glad to know that my artwork gives meaning and touches hearts in such a good way and I trust the custom house portrait brings her and her family many wonderful memories!

Donation to upcoming “Ride On St. Louis” fundraising event
My fellow St. Louisans are cordially invited to an event taking place this Friday night, November 20th — the 6th Annual “Jan’s Party” to benefit Ride On St. Louis! Again this year, the event will be held at the Arnold Eagle’s Club on Jeffco Boulevard, from 7 -11 pm and will be a fun night of food, drinks, music, raffles and a silent auction.
Every year, because I believe in the purpose of this group, I donate a Gift Certificate to the silent auction, and this year it will be for a 9″ x 12″ Watercolor Custom House Portrait valued at $400! You will also find many other great items to bid on — signed sports memorabilia, Blues hockey tickets, gift certificates and much more — all to benefit this excellent charity!
This wonderful organization is located on the Anheuser Estate in Kimmswick, Missouri and provides equine assisted activities and therapies for adults and children with disabilities, US Veterans, and disadvantaged youths from the greater St. Louis area. ROSL uses the unique movement of the horse to gain physical, mental, emotional and spiritual improvement in the lives of those they serve, all for the greater glory, honor and love of God.
