February 9 ~ Archival prints shipped to law offices in California
It’s always nice when someone likes one of my original works of art enough to want a color print to display in another location. Such is the case with the watercolor portrait I did last year of the Simmons Hanly Conroy law office headquarters building located in Alton, Illinois. Last Thursday, two color archival prints were requested by Amy Stiebel, to be displayed at the company’s law offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco, California and I’m very honored. Special thanks to Jim Robbins at Velham Printing for providing the gorgeous 16″ x 22″ archival prints so promptly so they could be shipped today. I hope they will be nicely framed and displayed proudly in their new locations! And I highly recommend Velham Printing for the best fine art reproductions — you will appreciate the consistently excellent quality work. http://www.velham.com

Watercolor artwork of Dover, New Hampshire home
The finishing touches were put on this house portrait on January 31st… a 9″ x 12″ watercolor of a Cape Cod style home located in Dover, New Hampshire surrounded by beautiful landscape. This custom house portrait was commissioned by a very thoughtful son to be a gift for his parents and portrays the property in his mom’s favorite season of Fall, which makes it a visual delight — such a variety of rich, appealing colors!

Handsomely framed watercolor portrait
It’s always a delight to receive photos from clients showing their framed house portrait and knowing how pleased they are!
I recently created a watercolor portrait of a lake side property in Connecticut for Meryl Hartstein, which she gave as a gift, and today, January 31st, she was so kind to forward a photo showing it handsomely framed and displayed on a wall. I truly appreciated her thoughtfulness in sending it — “Thank you, Meryl!”

Watercolor portrait of stylish brick home in University City
Completed on January 25th…. an 11″x 14″ watercolor portrait of a classically stylish two-story home in University City, Missouri. This portrait is the result of a gift certificate a wife purchased for her husband, and I hope he will be pleased with the portrayal of the family’s residence — the multi-toned brickwork and front entry give the home so much character! The artwork should also bring a smile to their young son’s face when he sees the Japanese Maple tree he loves to climb!
