Watercolor Portrait of Historic Estate in Villa Ridge, Missouri
This 8″ x 12″ watercolor portrait depicts an historic estate in Villa Ridge, Missouri and was a joy to capture! Situated on 14 acres, the original farmhouse was built in 1840, with a large addition completed in 1930 that doubled the size of the home and it’s so impressive! The flagstone steps lead up to an inviting spacious front porch and balcony that harkens back to a bygone era and a perfect place to relax! The patriotic bunting gracing the balcony and flagpole with American flag are a meaningful touch. The artwork was commissioned by realtor Karol Plawsky of Red Key Realty Leaders for a closing gift to her sellers and I hope this custom house portrait brings many sweet memories of this special property!

The stone work and lovely landscape of this ten year old home give it so much inviting character and I hope this family enjoys many happy years in this spectacular house!

This watercolor portrait of a home in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania will bring many fond memories to the couple that lived there, Austin and Kelly. The artwork was commissioned by his parents to commemorate the five years they resided in this home. They did many renovations to the interior and his parents knew a custom house portrait would be a meaningful and perfect gift for them! They are in their new home in Texas now and I hope they smile with warm memories every time they look at their portrait!
Very Special Portrait for My Family
I recently took some time to create a very special portrait for my daughter and two grandchildren. Their precious little dog “Alley-Oop”, an adorable 15- year old Schipperke Pomeranian mix, passed away of old age and they were heartbroken. They had so many fond memories of her during their young years, so I created this 8″x 10″ mixed media artwork to commemorate her. They loved her tiny face and how fluffy she was, and that’s what I made sure to capture. Then, I embellished the portrait with gold and iridescent glitter rays illuminating her to convey to my grandchildren the idea that their sweet Alley-Oop is happily in Dog Heaven. They were so touched when I gave them the portrait and they saw her smiling face! It meant so much to me to create such a meaningful gift for my family and I know they will cherish it forever.
