House Portrait with a Halloween Theme
It may be July, but when my client requested a house portrait with a Halloween theme, I was thrilled to do it! This 16″x 20″ watercolor painting depicts a family’s home in Seattle, Washington and was so fun and interesting to paint. The artwork shows their handsome brick home at dusk decorated will all kinds of spooky and whimsical decor that they put up every Halloween…skeletons, witches, ghosts, spiders, tombstones, a mummy, and bats — lots of bats — just to name a few! Their custom house portrait even includes their two small dogs with cute sorcerers hats standing guard near the gate — a nice touch! Theirs is the house their neighbors look forward to visiting every year!
Handsome Residence in University City, Missouri
This handsome residence in University City, Missouri has so much great character! The 8″x 10″ watercolor painting portrays my client’s childhood home where her parents still live. This classic Tudor-style architectural design includes intricate brick patterns that were interesting to depict and dark wooden trim that accentuates them. The limestone wall and steps add to the impressive and idyllic look of the property and are very inviting to visitors. I trust this portrait will bring my client many sweet memories of growing up there!

Such a Lovely Older Home to Portray!
This was such a lovely older home to portray! This 8″x 12″ watercolor painting depicts a family’s residence in Webster Groves, Missouri and was a joy to create! This older brick home has lots of character and the large front yard streaked with beautiful sunlight made a very picturesque portrayal. This is the second custom house portrait I’ve provided for this client and he and his wife are looking forward to displaying next to the first one of his childhood home.
