Cherished Family Home in Maplewood, Missouri
Completed on August 28, this 11″x 14″ watercolor painting portrays a charming white frame home in Maplewood, Missouri that had been in my client’s family for many years. Her parents bought the property in 1959, and owed it for 45 years, where it became home to them, their five children, and their grandmother. My client commissioned this custom house portrait because she and her siblings have so many wonderful memories of this house and the years they lived together there. The artwork was made even more meaningful because of the personal items included in the portrait — the green bench her brother made for their mom, and the glass of iced tea on the small table next to it — sure to bring sweet memories to the family members!

Watercolor of Clarksville, Tennessee Home
Completed on August 17, this 10″ x 13″ watercolor painting portrays a frame home in Clarksville, Tennessee that belonged to a U.S. Army Major and his wife. They lived at this residence for four years until recently being transferred to Kansas. They were very fond of this property, so he ordered the portrait as a birthday gift for her, and requested their dog “Howie” be included on the front lawn. It was an honor to provide this custom house portrait for a member of our military and I hope it brings them both many cherished memories!

Color Rendering of Custom Home
On August 13, the finishing touches were put on this 12″ x 18″ color line rendering of a proposed 4,000+ square foot custom design residence in Ladue, Missouri. For this project, I again had the pleasure to work with Kevin Gerloff of Gerloff Design Group Inc and Jim Dunman of Wolf Custom Homes Inc produce this finished rendering of a handsome brick and stone home for an upcoming presentation and trust the design will receive the approval it needs to proceed with construction!

Closing Gift from Realtor To His Homebuyer
Such a stately, handsome home!
Completed on August 7th, this 11″ x 14″ watercolor painting portrays a handsome brick home near Forest Park in Saint Louis, Missouri. The portrait was a gift from Larry Dietzel, a local Realtor for Berkshire Hathaway, who purchased a gift certificate for John B., his client that purchased the property. Besides being a unique and great closing gift for the new homeowner and his family, as it hangs on the wall, the artwork will be a nice reminder of the wonderful service Larry gave through the whole buying process. I hope John and his family will be delighted with their watercolor custom house portrait, and best wishes to them for many years of happy events and memories in their new home!
