Pencil Portrait of Dover Place Christian Church
Completed on November 10, this 11″ x 14″ pencil illustration depicts Dover Place Christian Church, commissioned by the Carondelet Historical Society, to be displayed in their museum along with portraits of other historic properties from this area of Saint Louis, Missouri.
If you would like your place of worship, school, or other special building portrayed in watercolor, pen and ink, or pencil to commemorate the anniversary of the founding or other special event, I would be happy to create it and provide keepsake limited edition prints for fundraising purposes if desired. Watercolor Painting of Chappaqua, New York Home
This was such an interesting home to portray!
Completed on November 1, this 14″ x 24″ watercolor portrays a sprawling home in Chappaqua, New York, the main part of which was built in 1723. The current homeowners and their family have lived there for 30 years, and the adult children commissioned the portrait as a gift to their parents, who should be very touched! It was a joy to portray this lovely home and landscape, and an honor to provide the house portrait that will bring warm and cherished memories to this family for many years to come.

The day your kids and grandchildren have been waiting for is here! Hope your little Trick or Treater has the perfect costume all ready to go and will have a great evening going door-to-door or attending a party — or both! Enjoy all the candy and other goodies that will be soon at your house! Thought you’d enjoy seeing this watercolor portrait of a whimsical and spooky haunted house I did a few years ago — the homeowners commissioned it for their children because Halloween was the family’s favorite holiday and they were tickled when they saw it complete with ghouls, ghosts, bats, a witch, and other creepy critters and imagery! It made a unique and treasured gift for their kiddos! Enjoy this Halloween! ( and those Kit Kat bars! )
Watercolor Painting of Highland, Illinois Home
On October 20th, the finishing touches were put on this 9″x 13″ watercolor painting depicting a brick ranch home in Highland, Illinois. The portrait is a gift to the homeowners from their adult children who purchased a gift certificate for them so they could work with me directly to describe how the property was to be portrayed. The recipients desired the landscape be depicted in the early Fall season, which made for a colorful and beautiful custom house portrait!
