This property was so interesting to portray! The newest house portrait was rendered in pen and ink with watercolor and depicts a large residence in Hinsdale, Illinois with abundant character and charm. The artwork was commissioned by the homeowners to add to their collection of original portraits of homes where they have lived, and shows their garden landscape in lovely full summer bloom. Pen and Ink Portrait of Family’s Beloved Home
This will be such a touching gift! Completed on February 9, this 11″ x 14″ pen and ink portrait captures a family’s longtime home in Affton, Missouri. Commissioned by three thoughtful siblings as a gift to their parents who will be moving soon from the home they purchased in 1975, they are sure to be very touched. This home holds 43 years of memories with their family, and moving to their new house will be bittersweet, but I hope their custom house portrait will be a meaningful reminder of the many happy times they shared in this residence. The siblings ordered fine art reproduction prints of the original artwork so they can each have their own keepsake of the home where they grew up. Such a lovely property!
Just completed on February 2, this 9″ x 14″ watercolor house portrait portrays a large residence in Winnetka, Illinois with an interesting multi-tone stone exterior. The arched windows, shutters, and French doors add such stylish beauty to the home — I just love them! The artwork was commissioned by a husband as a gift to his wife, and I hope she will be pleased with the portrayal.
