Completed on July 17, this 8″ x 10″ watercolor portrays a family’s long-time home in Orchard Park, New York. The artwork shows the property the way the family wished to remember it, including the garden area with red, pink and white begonias, and the the crab apple tree in lovely full bloom. I hope their custom house portrait brings wonderful, warm memories of the many years they lived at this residence.

Pen and Ink Portrait of Shaker Heights, Ohio Home
Most of the time, clients request a watercolor painting of their home or business, but every so often I’m asked to create a pen and ink, and I’m always thrilled. So it was for this newly completed 10″ x 16″ illustration of this home in Shaker Heights, Ohio, commissioned by my client as a gift to her son and daughter-in-law — how thoughtful! As you can see, my pen and ink artwork is rich in detail and character and I hope the couple will love the distinctive look.

Watercolor of Family’s Lovely Home
Just completed on June 29, this 9″x 14″ watercolor custom house portrait portrays a spacious and beautiful brick home in Town and Country, Missouri where my client, her husband, their children, and their beloved black Labrador resides. I’ve worked with this homeowner before to portray her parent’s and in-law’s homes, and also her parish church with limited edition prints for a fundraiser, and it was a joy to work with her again to create this vivid watercolor painting of her own home for her family. I hope her children are thrilled to see their sweet dog included in the artwork!

Watercolor House Portrait for Moving Gift
Completed on June 12, this 10″ x 15″ watercolor painting depicts a lovely residence in Ballwin, Missouri and will be a gift to the homeowners who will be moving soon, commissioned by their very thoughtful neighbor friends. The artwork includes personal touches the recipients will enjoy remembering…. their beloved dog peeking out a window, two rocking chairs on the front porch, and a very special small tree planted in honor of a loved one. I hope this custom house portrait brings many warm, joyful memories to the family every time they view it!
