Watercolor House Portrait for Moving Gift
Completed on June 12, this 10″ x 15″ watercolor painting depicts a lovely residence in Ballwin, Missouri and will be a gift to the homeowners who will be moving soon, commissioned by their very thoughtful neighbor friends. The artwork includes personal touches the recipients will enjoy remembering…. their beloved dog peeking out a window, two rocking chairs on the front porch, and a very special small tree planted in honor of a loved one. I hope this custom house portrait brings many warm, joyful memories to the family every time they view it!

Pen and Ink Portrait for Wedding Anniversary Gift
As you know, a custom house portrait makes a unique and meaningful gift for special occasions of family and friends — and this includes my own! So it gave me great joy to create this pen and ink illustration as a gift to our daughter and son-in-law to commemorate their 5 year wedding anniversary on June 7th and residence in this home shortly after their marriage. Both appreciate the distinctive look of black and white line work of pen and ink, so I knew this portrait would make a terrific gift to mark the occasion. It depicts their four bedroom home in Glendale, Missouri as it looked when purchased, along with updates to landscape, and I look forward to helping them select a mat and frame for their keepsake artwork!
If there is a home you would like portrayed for your own family, or for someone special, I will be happy to create a beautiful original portrait for them also. Contact me to reserve a place on my schedule, 314-892-9221.

Visit to Victorian Style Bed and Breakfast Inn
I would love to portray this house one day!
My daughter and I just returned from several days at the Walnut Street Inn in the heart of Springfield, Missouri and it was wonderful! This three story, twelve room property was built in 1894, and is a fine example of Queen Anne Victorian architecture. My favorite things about this B & B were the lovely antique furnishings in the guest rooms and throughout the home, the hand painted exterior Corinthian columns, airy and inviting veranda with old fashioned porch swing, the claw foot antique bathtub (where I enjoyed a relaxing bath!), and many charming decorative touches from yesteryear in every room. It was a memorable experience for an extended weekend getaway, and I plan to return again. It would be a joy to portray this unique property in a watercolor painting in my spare time one day! Watercolor of Longtime Family Home in Saint Louis
Completed on May 13, this 8″ x 10″ watercolor painting depicts a picturesque brick and stone residence in Saint Louis, Missouri where three sisters grew up and where their parents lived until their recent passing. It is now time for it to be sold, and the sisters wished to have a portrait keepsake to preserve their memories of their longtime family home. The artwork portrays the property just as they wish to remember it — with stained glass windows, rich multi-toned bricks, colorful flowers, and a statue of Mary in the garden area. I hope their custom house portrait brings each of them many fond memories long after the home is sold.
If you too have a special childhood, former, or current home you wish to have portrayed in a beautiful watercolor painting or pen and ink illustration, I will be happy to provide it — call me at 314-892-9221 to reserve a spot on my summer or fall schedule.
