Capture the Azaleas in Bloom with a Watercolor Portrait!
The azaleas are in lovely full bloom now and are always such a delight to portray in watercolor house portraits.
Though their beauty only lasts three weeks in your garden, their depiction in a house portrait will allow you or the recipient to admire the gorgeous colors all year long! Now is the perfect time to take photos for me to work from, or, if the home is located in the greater St. Louis area, I can take them for you. I’m now taking orders — call me at 314-892-9221 with questions or to order. I look forward to working with you to create a beautiful home portrait! Gift Certificates are available and always make a truly perfect gift for family and friends.

Happy News and House Portrait Schedule Update
As our state and country are still shut down due to the Covid-19 virus, I am also taking time off for another reason — the birth of our first granddaughter Eowyn — she is truly a beautiful blessing and my husband and I are overjoyed! With her doctor’s permission, I’ve taken the past three weeks off to be available to help our daughter and son-in-law when needed and I’m so grateful to have the time to do so. Our state of Missouri is expected to reopen on Monday, May 4th, and I will resume my portrait schedule then and am now taking orders. Should you need a watercolor or pen and ink house portrait for an upcoming special occasion, or simply wish to have one for yourself, I will be happy to create it for you. In the meantime, stay safe and healthy, and most importantly, stay positive — we will slowly return to normal one day!

Watercolor House Portrait for a Husband’s Birthday Gift
The newest custom house portrait portrays a large, two-story traditional home with timeless classic style located in Weldon Spring, Missouri. The 9″ x 15″ watercolor artwork was commissioned by a thoughtful wife as a birthday gift to her husband and she’s looking forward to framing and presenting it to him — I hope he will be pleased with the portrayal!

Please Take Good Care!
What an extraordinary and unprecedented time our country and the world are living in! We will get through this serious challenge by following the safely guidelines, but it will take time. Please keep those sick with the Coronavirus in your prayers, the heartbroken family members of those that have passed, and the medical community to find a cure quickly so lives can be saved.
Most of you are new to working from home, and you’re trying to do your best adjusting — hang in there! I hope each day goes more smoothly than the one before. I’ve been working from home creating custom house portrait artwork for 22+ years, so it’s not nearly the upheaval for me as it may be for you. I’m grateful to be sitting at my drawing table working on a watercolor of a large home in Weldon Springs, Missouri this week — it will be a birthday gift from a wife to her husband, and I hope it will give them both a reason to smile when they see it in a few days.
Please stay safe, healthy, and strong — we will get through this and emerge better than before. Take good care!
