A Special House For My Little Grandson
Thought I would share a special “house” I created…. a playhouse for my little grandson made of empty cardboard boxes! ( you know how much kids love them!) I built it in extra space in my basement earlier this year, and recently decorated it with holiday lights and decorations for him to enjoy for when he visits. His Christmas gifts were placed in one of the “rooms” — he loved it! To do the same for your special little one, some large empty boxes, heavy tape, an Exacto knife, and some creativity was all it took to build the playhouse itself — with your imagination the sky is the limit on what you can do!

Watercolor of Family’s New Home
This beautiful, lush property was so interesting to portray. The 9″x 14″ watercolor depicts a family’s new home in Sea Island, Georgia commissioned by a husband as a Christmas gift for his wife. The spacious, contemporary residence is surrounded by graceful live oaks, ferns, and gardens of flowering white azaleas, iris, and camellias — so lovely! This beautiful property is also close to the beach — a true paradise! Best wishes to them for many happy years in this gorgeous residence!
Watercolor House Portrait for a Mother’s Gift
This 8″ x 12″ watercolor painting depicts a family’s longtime, beloved home in Forest Grove, Oregon. It was a very heartfelt gift from three adult children to their mom when the home was recently sold after many decades of living in this residence — so many memories there! This custom house portrait portrays the landscape in early spring bloom, and a hint of a glowing fireplace is seen through the large picture window — a sweet memory for all!
