This 8″ x 12″ watercolor painting depicts a family’s longtime, beloved home in Forest Grove, Oregon. It was a very heartfelt gift from three adult children to their mom when the home was recently sold after many decades of living in this residence — so many memories there! This custom house portrait portrays the landscape in early spring bloom, and a hint of a glowing fireplace is seen through the large picture window — a sweet memory for all! What a spectacular property! This newly completed 12″ x 19″ watercolor house painting depicts a large, architecturally modern home located in Chesterfield, Missouri and it was so interesting to capture. The artwork was commissioned as a Christmas gift from thoughtful sisters to their brother and his wife and I hope they will be pleased with the portrayal. Watercolor House Portrait of Client’s Childhood Home
This house portrait was a joy and honor to create! The recipient, Marlene, is a past client who had ordered a portrait for her adult daughter Julie and her family several years ago, and recently Julie ordered this 8″ x 10″ watercolor portrait for her for a Christmas gift! This brick residence in St. Louis, Missouri had been Marlene’s childhood home many years ago and there are many sweet memories. I’ve had hundreds of clients commission house portraits from me over the past 22 years, and I can honestly say that Marlene is one of my favorites. Her charming personality and joy for life are memorable, and I was delighted to create this home portrait for her!

This newly completed 9″ x 15″ watercolor painting of a home at the Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri is the result of a Gift Certificate thoughtful friends gave to the homeowners who were moving to Texas. The selection of a Gift Certificate gave the recipients, Julie B. and her husband the opportunity to work with me directly and give input for their wishes for the portrayal of their home and landscape — which was so beautiful in full bloom!
