Watercolor House Portrait for Keepsake Gift
This newly completed 9″x 12″ watercolor house portrait depicts a charming older home in the historic district of St. Charles, Missouri and it was so interesting to portray! The home belonged to a family for many years and was recently sold after the remaining parent passed away and the daughter-in-law commissioned the artwork to be a meaningful keepsake gift for her husband. The portrait includes hanging flower baskets, bench and chair on the front porch, and an American flag — all with sweet family memories for her husband. If you would like to do the same for your own home, contact me to secure a spot on my schedule for 2022 — I’m now taking orders for April.
Watercolor Portrait for Gift to Homeowners
This 11″x 15″ watercolor house portrait portrays a young couple’s stately brick home in University City, Missouri. The artwork is the result of a gift certificate given by their family member, and this allowed the couple to work with me directly to give input for the portrayal of their home. They requested their dog be included in the portrait — a sweet touch!
If you have a special home and would like it beautifully portrayed in watercolor, contact me to reserve a spot on my 2022 schedule — I will be happy to provide it.

Framed House Portrait for a Husband’s Birthday Gift
My client Natalie had the house portrait I recently created matted and framed for her husband Scott’s birthday gift and he was so surprised and pleased! Natalie knew he would love having their current home portrayed in a pen and ink illustration and his happy smile proves she was right! This was the second house portrait I provided for this couple and the framing for this one was again expertly done by Deborah Weltman of Terra Art and Frame in St. Louis, Missouri to match the first one. Best wishes to them and their family for many more years of great memories in this beautiful brick and stone home!
Limited Edition Reproduction Print of The Magic House
Special thanks to Jim Robbins of Velham Printing for reproducing my original artwork of the Magic House so beautifully! My client Beth Fitzgerald, president of the Magic House, asked me to add a handwritten script at the bottom, and a total of 27 limited edition 8.5″ x 11″ prints were made — 25 for her to give as gifts, one for my records, and one for my four year old grandson who loves visiting there frequently! Each print was individually signed, numbered, and packaged in a clear plastic envelope for safe keeping until it can be framed by the recipient. I hope the print brings many wonderful and special memories to all who receive it!
