I just returned from a one week vacation there with my husband and several family members and we really enjoyed our stay there! This 9″x 13″ house portrait of a Cedar Rapids, Iowa home was commissioned to be a Christmas gift from my client to his dear friend. The artwork was created with black pen and ink with watercolor overlay and captures the way the home and landscape looked when it was sold a few years ago. My client’s friend had lived in this home for most of her life and I hope she will be very touched by this thoughtful gift! Completed on October 25, this 8″x 11″ watercolor portrait depicts an impressive home in Richmond Heights, Missouri with handsome Tudor-style character. My client Stephanie commissioned the artwork for her family and self because they will be moving soon and wish to have the portrait to commemorate the many happy years in this residence and I hope this custom house portrait brings many fond memories!
