Limestone residence in Texas

Just completed on November 9… a  Pen & Ink with Watercolor overlay of a handsome, sprawling limestone and stucco residence in Helotes, Texas. The architectural features and rich character of this home were so interesting to portray… the multi-level terracotta tile roof, stylish bow, arched, and stained glass windows and impressive front entry door and sidelights all lend distinction. Also shown in the portrait are some personal touches requested by the client… a statue of St. Francis of Assisi, a favorite yucca plant and a beloved Doberman on the front lawn. This home was a joy to portray and work with – as was the gentleman that commissioned it!

I hope the portrait will be a source of pride for the owners for many years to come!

Virginia suburban residence

 Completed on October 27th… a 12″x20″ Watercolor of a tastefully classic, traditional style 2 -story brick residence in a very nice suburban neighborhood in Virginia. The family has since moved to a new home, and the portrait was done as a keepsake remembrance of the happy years spent there. The portrait includes a very special personal touch – the small daughter mowing the grass with her toy lawnmower, something she loved to do….. how precious is that!

Annapolis, Maryland Residence

Just completed on October 14th. this 16″x 20″ Watercolor portrait of a beautiful stone and frame residence in Annapolis, Maryland. It is situated on a tree-filled large lot near the bay, and complete with the beloved family dog on the front lawn.

This portrait was commissioned to serve as a keepsake for a family with small children that had moved to a new house in another town. I hope the portrait brings back great memories of their years there every time the family views it!
