Just completed…. a 9″x12″ Pen & Ink with Watercolor portrait of a classicly elegant two-story brick residence. This combination technique is different from the full watercolor portaits I normally do. For this style, the process begins with a richly detailed black line ink rendering, then watercolor is added on top. This creates a distinctive and beautiful finished look that is very appealing.

Just completed…. a Pen & Ink with Watercolor portrait of a tasteful residence in Atlanta. It was commissioned by a family member as a gift to the owners that lived there for many years. The artwork shows the manicured landscaping, and extra fullness was added to the trees and shrubs in the back of the home which made a nice backdrop to set off the gray color of the painted brick. The artwork features the white wooden porch swing and fans… sure to remind the owners of many enjoyable times spent together on the front porch, and the stone wall at the sidewalk is a nice touch for the ample front yard.
Updated Suburban Residence
Just completed on January 13th ….. a Pen & Ink rendering of a frame ranch style home with a very generous front yard. The owners had recently done several nice exterior updates, and wanted a portrait to commemorate the new look to display next to an older rendering showing the original appearance. The mature trees in the rear of the property made a really nice visual backdrop to accentuate the home!
