Sprawling hacienda in Dallas, Texas
Just completed on January 18th… a custom-sized 13″x24″ Watercolor portrait of a sprawling hacienda-style white brick home situated on a large lot in Dallas, Texas. The portrait was commissioned by the adult daughters as a gift to their parents. The home is graced with beautiful cascading pink wisteria all along the front under the shade of a mature post oak tree in the center of the pebble driveway. The portrait also depicts the bell tower, lattice railing and trimwork, a toddler swing in a tree, and the grandchildren’s small toys in their favorite spot to play in the shade. This beautiful home and landscape was a joy to portray and I hope the recipients are delighted when they receive it.

Just completed on December 20th… a Watercolor portrait of a specious brick and stone ranch style home in a suburb of St. Louis county. This artwork was commissioned as a gift for the recipient who grew up in this home many years ago, and depicts several items the way they used to be… the decorative window shutters, the round bushes along the front, the two red cannas plants by the porch, and the charming cherub light fixture atop a brick planter filled with flowers. Hope the portrait brings back many fond memories for the recipient’s family!
