Just completed on December 17th… a Watercolor portrait of an appealing and picturesque frame home in Rapid City, South Dakota. This house portrait was commissioned to be an anniversary gift from the husband to his wife and depicts the family’s former home. The artwork portrays the garden areas with his wife’s favorite flowers, lilac bush and cherry tree all in full bloom as well as the American Flag at the front porch. Custom house portrait of Colonial-style home in Kirkwood, Missouri
Just completed on November 29th… a Watercolor house portrait of a gorgeous traditional two-story brick home in Kirkwood, Missouri. This custom portrait was commissioned by the husband as a Christmas gift to his wife. The couple had recently discovered a pencil drawing done by his wife when she was a young child… it was of her “Dream Home”. Seeing how her drawing and their current home are strikingly similar, the husband decided to have both her drawing and the watercolor portrait framed together and present it to her for Christmas. How amazing and touching is that!!! I hope his wife will be very pleased with this very thoughtful gift by her husband!
The house portrait portrays the recent addition of a wrap around porch, including a white swing, and new landscaping design shown in full summer bloom surrounded by mature shade trees.
