May 4 ~ House Portrait Schedule Resumed
Follow me
I’m resuming my portrait schedule today and happy to be working on the historic Basilica of Saint Louis, King of France, fondly known as the “Old Cathedral”. Constructed of limestone, the Old Cathedral is the oldest building in the city of St. Louis, and has always welcomed people of all faiths since 1834, including those of the Jewish faith as evidenced by the Latin and Hebrew gilded inscriptions on the facade. It’s a beautiful place of worship, inside and out, and it will be a joy to portray the exterior. I will post the finished artwork when it’s complete next week.
