I hope you’ve been enjoying your summer! Every year, summer seems to go by too fast, and this one is no exception. I was able to take a very brief break to enjoy my favorite season a bit, but now I’m back in my studio working on a portrait of a brand new home in Algonquin, Illinois. The home belongs to a very special newlywed couple and they are excited to see the finished artwork! The portrait includes some pink peony bushes that haven’t been planted yet, and their beloved three dogs depicted on the front lawn — a sweet touch! Orders for Christmas 2023 are already beginning to come in, so if you wish to have a custom house portrait as a gift, I recommend ordering soon before my schedule fills.
