Custom house portrait of stone residence in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Just completed on September 14th… an oversized 16″x20″ Watercolor house portrait of a large architecturally interesting, older stone residence in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  This custom portrait was commissioned by the adult children to be given to their parents this Christmas. The portrait portrays the rich character of the property in the hand hewn stones and white moulding trimwork design of the pediment and fascia, surrounded by a lovely landscape including a white dogwood and birch trees. My hope is that this original house portrait will provide  treasured memories for the family who lived there.
