Charming large 2-story frame home in Winnetka, Illinois

Just completed on May 21st… a 12″x16″ Pen and Ink with Watercolor of a large 2-story tan frame home in Winnetka, Illinois. The medium used for this house portrait is different than the full watercolor artwork I normally do for residences, and it offers an interesting and distinctive look that I enjoy portraying. This home portrait is the result of a gift certificate given from a mom and dad to their daughter and son-in-law. The scalloped shingles and white railing adds classic, old fashioned charm, as does the white wooden swing and chair on the inviting porch — a perfect place to relax after a hectic day! I hope this young couple will be delighted with their custom house portrait!
