Watercolor House Portrait of Client’s Childhood Home

This house portrait was a joy and honor to create!  The recipient, Marlene, is a past client who had ordered a portrait for her adult daughter Julie and her family several years ago, and recently Julie ordered this 8″ x 10″ watercolor portrait for her for a Christmas gift! This brick residence in St. Louis, Missouri had been Marlene’s childhood home many years ago and there are many sweet memories. I’ve had hundreds of clients commission house portraits from me over the past 22 years, and I can honestly say that Marlene is one of my favorites. Her charming personality and joy for life are memorable, and I was delighted to create this home portrait for her!
